The Bergen County Academies (BCA)  is a free, publicly funded magnet school for Bergen County residents.  Founded in 1992, BCA was envisioned by its founder, Dr. John Grieco, to be a school without boundaries, where students are encouraged to explore, collaborate  and innovate.

It is in this spirit of exploration, collaboration and innovation that the Bergen County Academies Friends and Families (BCAFF) was established as a non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation in the spring of 2016.  BCAFF is an educational foundation and alumni association that seeks to harness the support of the entire community of students, alumni, current and alumni families and industry sponsors to make the Bergen County Academies one of the premier specialized high schools in the nation.
