Izzy Parilis is a 2009 graduate of the Academy for Culinary Arts and Hotel Administration (ACAHA). While at BCA, Izzy was very involved with SkillsUSA and SPARK, though she is likely most proud of her four year Field Day watermelon contest winning streak. She went on to graduate from The George Washington University with a degree in Human Services and Social Justice. She puts her non profit management and hospitality background to work as an event planner and fundraiser for a large environmental non-profit in Washington, DC, where lives with her dog, Paprika. She is looking forward to reconnecting with fellow BCA alumni - and thinks that most of the best people she has ever known, she met at the Academies.
